Lots of exciting things going on here! My senior art show, The Great Remedy, is coming up and graduation will be here before I know it. I’m going crazy preparing everything and working on all those last minute details. Some other exciting news, my portfolio website for my graphic design and artwork is being built as we speak and will soon be launched at this location (www.kbaird.com) In the meantime I just put my blog up as a placeholder. I’ll be back with more updates soon, thanks for stopping by!

Hello and happy new year! I got a cute little Moka Express for Christmas and I must say, I am obsessed.  I highly recommend it! Needless to say, when I saw this silkscreen print by Mengsel Design I was smitten. I love her use of pattern!

Holy Crizzap. These ties are woven from 50% recorded audio cassette tape and 50% colored polyester thread. How cool is that?! SOUNDS like a brilliant gift idea to me! (Get it!?) Haha! These and other cool sonic products are available from Alyce Santoro;s Improbable Artifacts & Philosoprop Shoppe.

I had to post this just for the pure ridiculousness of it (and the cute puppies!) Rover makes beautiful trenches & pea coats… for your dog. Classiest pet clothing ever.

I’ve never really thought about wearing a watch before, but when I saw these by May 28th I fell in love! Each watch is handmade and one-of-a-kind. They come in so many different styles from pretty florals, to manly geometrics. This is a gift idea that I think would work for almost anyone!

Mike Perry is transforming his studio into a gallery / shop in preparation for the opening of his week long pop-up shop. Ah I wish I lived in New York! I would be at this event in a heart beat!

I never, and I mean NEVER, do my hair. A messy bun on top of my head is the most exciting thing my hair has done for the last year, but when I saw this hairdo on A Cup of Jo I just had to try it. It turned out so cute and it was surprisingly easy too! Follow the tutorial here! Now if only I had that awesome red hair…

Hey friends! These little kitties by Jane Foster inspired me to post today. Love the combination of silk-screen printing and retro fabric. I also had to share this Lion print because it reminds me so much of this stuffed lion my mom had when she was little. I must find a photo of the lion my mom had, you will just fall in love.

Creepy or cute? Cute or sad? This bunny bag by Mandy Coon, established dj and emerging designer, definitely caught my eye. It’s like a rock & roll stuffed animal for grown-ups. I think it would be super fun to carry around. Rad!

I’m loving the work of artist and designer Chris Waind. He just opened an Etsy shop featuring archival prints, original artwork and also some super cool lomo prints. He’s got a wide variety of work available and it’s all great! You must check out his shop!

Hello bloggy pals! Surprised to see me? I unintentionally took a break from the blog for a bit. I began my senior year of college this fall and holy cow I have never been busier. I am trying to balance being a full time student, 2 different internships, being a designer for a few on campus groups, and continuing my personal artwork. Not easy. I am slowly adjusting to this new level of craziness and am going to be trying to get my blog and eventually my Etsy back in action. Stay tuned!
